2024 OVERVIEW
Wow! What an incredible year 2024 has been. As we reflect on all that God has done in and through our church, our hearts are filled with gratitude. Your generosity and faithfulness have made a significant impact—not only on our church family but also on our local community. We are so thankful for each one of you. This year was a defining moment for HopeUC as we witnessed God move powerfully through “The Year of the Family.” Launching the “Family Book” and diving into a new topic each month allowed us to grow together as one unified body, bringing glory to the Lord. Whether you participated in the book or not, it’s clear God used this journey to activate something remarkable in all of us! We’ve seen healings, deepened friendships, and a strengthened community. Journey with us in this email to see all that God has done!
HOPE AT HOME
In 2024, we closed out the year with 28 home groups, and by spring 2025, we’re expecting to grow to over 35 groups with 745 people currently participating. We believe that faith in Jesus goes beyond the church walls. While gathering in the barn is beautiful, real family and community happen in our homes.
VANDERBILT OUTREACH
Beginning Easter of 2024, the Lord opened an incredible door for us to partner with Vanderbilt University Hospital. Through our connection with Travis & Bridget Joyner, we were able to provide an Easter dinner for the entire staff and all the families spending Easter in patient care. Miraculously, this turned into weekly trips to the 6th floor where Stevie Mitchell and her team began feeding the staff and providing snacks and toys to the entire floor. We ended the year out providing 1000 meals to all the staff and families for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Your generosity has allowed us to contribute more than $27,000 towards this project and has made it possible for Jesus to shine bright at Vanderbilt!
MISSIONS
Missions are at the heart of HopeUC. This year, we sent teams to Uruguay and Mexico and invested over $86,000 to support missionaries worldwide. Your giving continues to enable the Gospel to spread and the Kingdom of God to grow across the earth.
LOCAL OUTREACH
Our local community is as much a mission field as the nations. Your generosity supported local efforts, including the Main Street Festival, Pumpkinfest, Nashville Downtown Outreach, our Fishing Ministry, Angel Foundation, Benevolence, and investments in other nonprofit ministries. Together, we contributed over $73,000 to love and serve our neighbors.
