Hello HopeUC Families!
We are so excited to have you participating in our HopeUC Giving Tree.
How this will work...
For those with Kids:
In the month of November, we will be teaching on the topic of 'Giving' in our Kids UNLTD classes and giving them a practical assignment for the entire month leading up to the Christmas season. We will have each child make their own piggy bank in order to collect money throughout the month that will go towards the needs on our HopeUC Family Giving Tree. For Middle School & Youth, you will be responsible to create your own piggy banks. The goal is to make this a competition between Children's Ministry, Middle School, and Youth to see who can raise the most money for the families in our church!
The piggy banks will go towards as many families as possible and the ones that aren’t financially covered will be added to the tree within the Kids ministry building. Once these are up you are welcome to come and pick up an ornament to support a family in need within our church body.
Parents and people within HopeUC who do not have kids, you can pick a team you would like to support. We will have buckets on the Sunday that we collect money that have the team names.
OUR HEART BEHIND THE FAMILY GIVING TREE
Being a family means taking care of one another. Our heart is to provide a way for our families within our church to let us know what they need. We understand that it's sometimes difficult to ask for help, but we do encourage you to let us know so we can do our best to support you. Our heart is to see all families have a stress-free holiday season and we are praying that this initiative can do that.
The money we collect from the month of November will go towards the families within our church that are in need for Christmas. This money will go towards gifts for kids, Christmas dinners, and travel expenses to get to extended family for the Holidays.
We have some families we know of already that could use some extra love during this season, but if you or someone within your family is in need we would love to have you fill out the form below. Once you fill out the form we will add you to our needs tree for December that our entire church can participate and help fulfill these needs. Please know that these names will all be completely anonymous on the tree!
