FALL GROUP NOTES + INFO
Below you will find an 8-week guide for our Ephesians study. It is very basic and made to initiate conversation. There is also an overview of Ephesians with highlights from Pastor Tom and a sermon series on Ephesians from Daniel Clubb. These are meant to give you some more insight into some of the passages you will be reading. You can feel free share these with your guys if you feel like it will help you in discussions. Please do not use those resources to "teach" at your groups, but keep them more as resources.
A COUPLE REMINDERS...
1. Keep it simple. Remember, the goal is to connect with the message and find meaning in the words they are reading.
2. Have them take notes. Tell them to write down their thoughts, questions, and insights as they read. This will help them engage more deeply with the text and remember what they’ve learned.
3. Remember to have fun. This is the word of God. It is living and breathing. It should be a joy to read and wrestle. Don’t fight to be right; fight to expand the mystery of a God not limited by human understanding.
I am really excited to hear all that God does in your small groups. I am praying for God to reveal Himself as you dive into His word together. I am honored to be on this journey together with each of you.
Thank you for taking on this challenge of raising up men of God in our community!
