Daniel and Niki Petersen are missionaries and nonprofit leaders serving in Montevideo, Uruguay, where they lead 1Gol Inc, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on family, faith, and community transformation through sports and hospitality.
They recently relocated to Montevideo to assume operations of an established soccer complex that will be renamed Complejo1. What currently hosts a men’s soccer league will be transformed into a premier, family-centered sports park—one of its kind in this part of the city—marked by pastoral leadership, exceptional hospitality, and a culture that warmly welcomes the entire community.
